Liam Donnelly is signing number two

Motherwell FC can confirm the signing of Hartlepool United defender Liam Donnelly.
The 22-year-old Northern Ireland international centre back has signed an initial two-year contract, subject to the usual registration formalities, with the club paying an undisclosed fee for his services.

Donnelly will wear shirt number 22 in the forthcoming campaign.

Forward Danny Johnson joins ‘Well

Centre forward Danny Johnson is Motherwell FC’s third signing of the summer, ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
The 25-year-old arrives from Vanarama National League side Gateshead after three goal-laden years with the Tynesiders, netting 53 times in 85 starts. His contract with the club will run until the summer of 2020.
“I’m very excited to join the club,” Johnson, who will wear number 24, said on his arrival.

Aaron Taylor-Sinclair is signing number four

Alex Rodríguez Gorrín joins Motherwell

Spanish midfielder Alejandro Rodríguez Gorrín is Motherwell FC’s fifth signing of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old, who counts Sunderland, Wellington Phoenix, Boavista and Sepsi OSK amongst his former teams, has signed an initial one-year deal with the club.

Conor Sammon signs for Motherwell

Motherwell have completed the signing of Conor Sammon on loan from Hearts.
The Republic of Ireland international striker has joined for the 2018/19 season, further bolstering the team’s forward options.
“I’m just looking forward to getting stuck in here, playing a lot of games, scoring a lot of goals, and just being a part of a successful season,” the 31-year-old said.

Na das ist doch mal eine positive Meldung für alle Beteiligten... Seine dritte und hoffentlich letzte Leihe. Am Ende der Saison sind wir ihn dann ja ablösefrei los

Die wirklich interessanten Transfermeldungen muss ich natürlich wieder posten Cedric Kipre verlässt Motherwell, wie bereits seit einiger Zeit erwartet wurde. Nach nur einem Jahr gibt es für den damals noch ablösefreien Verteidiger genau 1 Mio. Pfund- mit Bonuszahlungen könnte diese Ablöse noch weiter steigen, allerdings liegt der Rekord für die Steelmen immer noch bei 1,75 Mio., die der vor ein paar Jahren viel zu früh verstorbene Phil O'Donnell 1994 bei seinem Wechsel zu Celtic eingebracht hat. Das war damals richtig viel!

Motherwell defender Cedric Kipre is expected to complete a £1m move to Wigan Athletic later on Friday.

Wigan contacted Motherwell earlier this week and are in talks over a deal which involves a one-off payment with further performance-related instalments to take the fee to seven figures.

The Ivory Coast centre-half, 21, joined the Fir Park club as a free agent last year.

Defender Tom Aldred has returned to Motherwell on a season-long loan from Bury.
The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season at Fir Park, making 22 appearances, including the Scottish Cup final in May against Celtic.

Christian Mbulu is the latest summer signing at Motherwell Football Club.
The defender has joined after impressing during a short training stint at Fir Park, penning a deal until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old will initially form part of Stephen Craigan’s young reserve group, but manager Stephen Robinson is hopeful he will push for a first team spot given time.
