Quote from barocogo:
Hibernian have agreed a loan deal for Austrian defender Markus Berger.
The 24-year-old, who is currently with Portuguese outfit Academica Coimbra, had a trial stint with Hibs earlier this month.
He has seemingly impressed manager Mixu Paatelainen, who has now moved to seal a loan transfer.

Hibs have handed pro deals to seven of their U19 players.
The seven youngsters will step up to the first-team squad in the summer and give manager Mixu Paatelainen some welcome options for next season. Secured on contracts yesterday were Ewan Moyes, Kurtis Byrne, Sean Welsh, Patrick Deane, Lee Currie, David Wotherspoon and goalkeeper Thomas Flynn.
In addition to the seven graduates, team-mate Callum Booth has also signed an extended contract but he remains eligible for the under-19 squad for one more season.

HIBS have signed a new two-year sponsorship deal with property investment firm McEwan Fraser.
The deal, which starts from this July, will see the Edinburgh-based firm's logo replacing distillers Whyte and Mackay, who have been the club's shirt sponsor for the last five years.
