Et si Bafétimbi Gomis revenait en France ? L’attaquant de trente ans, qui a vécu une saison compliquée à Swansea, en Premier League, intéresse Marseille. L’OM pense à l’ancien joueur de Lyon et de Saint-Étienne pour succéder à Michy Batshuayi, pour lequel Crystal Palace a formulé une offre de 38 millions d'euros. Un prêt serait une option envisageable, mais Gomis dispose d’autres offres, notamment une de Sunderland.
